Church agencies in southern Africa are helping farmers grow crops in what was soil too dry for growing. They are training farmers in innovative farming methods, water production and conservation, and reforestation. These agencies are also digging solar-powered wells to irrigate crops. These efforts are helping farmers to be productive once again, some in selling crops and others in animal husbandry. They wish to keep supplying their customers largely with energy created from polluting fossil fuel.

Since that time she has worked at conquering her own mess and helping both climate and environment at the same time. She now produces only about 2% of the amount of wasted plastic that average Americans do. It is very important for each person to "bring Truth to Power" by electing persons who believe in this need and its urgency.
Currently their effort is to remove the cap on the amount of solar installation that can happen in Michigan regions. They support legislation to correct this power play by DTE and other power corporations in order to allow this helpful industry to develop zero carbon use. Visit the Vote Solar web page.
